The BF and I got Assassin’s Creed 2 two days ago. We haven’t stopped playing it since. And I believe we won’t stop playing it until we beat it. Yes, we play it together. I like playing video games with him. ^_^
I’ve never played AC1, but I don’t think I need to. I’m really, really having fun with AC2.
Couple reasons why I like it.

It is a third-person action-adventure game…I love these kinds of games.

I enjoy navigating in this game. The running, climbing, diving into haystacks, and jumping is pretty sweet. I had a dream that I could do that kind of stuff. Lol. I wish. This reminds me of Prince of Persia.

The weapons & supplies are cool. Two hidden arm blades, throwing daggers, smoke bombs, swords, poisin, etc. I enjoy them very much. The upgrades are pretty sweet.
Lol, when a guard seeks me out on the rooftops, I find myself saying, “I will stab your ass,” while running towards him with my hidden blades. Then he gets stabbed in the face with both blades or gets tackled down with a stab in the face. Those moves are my favorite.

The collecting of feathers, treasure finding, tearing down posters, solving glyphs are my kind of thing. These parts of the game reminds me of Zelda a bit.

The setting of the game is really cool. The 15th century in Italy. It’s cool to see history in this game. A young Leonardo di Vinci is in the game. We haven’t got to the part where we fly a machine that Leonardo builds yet, but it was mentioned. And of course, I’ve seen it in game trailers.

I definitely recommend this game. Worth buying? I think so.
