L.A. Vacation

I just got back from my first vacation to the L.A. area. I loved it. My boyfriend and I chilled at Marina del Rey, Venice, Santa Monica, and North Hollywood. I love it there. So much diversity, especially Venice.
It’s such a different world out there…a world that we feel like we belong to. =)
Why do I live where I live?
Michigan is so lame.

Everytime I listen to music, my imagination clouds my mind, taking me to wherever the beat takes me. Most of the time, it takes me to places that has nothing to do with the lyrics. I just focus in on the beats of the music, the instruments used. =)

This song makes me feel like wearing stilettos heels and walking down The Magnificent Mile in Chicago, shopping.

Makes me feel like sitting on a running train, watching the telephone poles pass by.

Straight up makes me feel like dancing with my girls…all beautified out, teased up & curled hair, pumps, hot pink lipstick.

Lol…this one makes me feel like dancing in a cage as a go-go dancer.

Another dancing feeling..only I’m dancing on the floor by myself, eyes closed, lights shining on my face, arms in the air…

06 “Breathe” by Telepopmusik:
swinging on swings at a park on Venice Beach, wind in my hair, eyes closed but open when I reach the peak

07 “Final Hour” by Vivian Green:
Dancing at a studio as a ballerina in a long white tutu

Riding a carousel at night, staring at all the beautiful colors amusement parks have to offer.

Feeling like riding a motorcycle through street tunnels in a European city. Really fast of course. =P

Chillin’ at a pool party. My body in the pool, arms stretched out on the concrete, aviator shades on, and the sun beating down on my face.

My boyfriend sent me a link to a great blog post titled, “25 Hot Female Web Designers” by a freelance web designer, Lee Munroe.

That blog entry gave me a lot of hope and inspiration. One of my passions in life is to become a graphic & web designer. I’m barely getting my feet wet in the field; I know so little. But that will change. =) I want to get so great that people would put me on a list like that. Glad L.Munroe made that list. Now I have some more people to look up to.
He has a great blog too! I can’t stop reading from it.

I just ordered the Nokia N79 in white! I cannot wait until it’s back in stock to be shipped to me overnight; it’s on backorder.
I love how Nokia makes their phones. =)
My absolute favorite phone I ever had was the Nokia 7610. I bought it from eBay, and the phone ended up lagging so much. I don’t know if it was just the phone, or because the previous owner did something to it. But I loved the design of of it.

They don’t supply that phone anymore on the USA Nokia site. Sucked at first, but now…I’m getting the N79, which kicks the 7610 ass! Lol.

I also had the Nokia N73. I purchased that phone through eBay and from a great seller too. The camera on that phone ended up being poor quality, which shouldn’t. And again, it was very slow! Errr. I was fed up.

I don’t care how great the seller is–I’m never buying a phone from eBay. So this time, I ordered it from Nokia, over the phone. =) I better be happy this time!

I currently have the Blackberry Curve. I love the phone, but it’s just getting boring. Everyone I know either has an iPhone or a Blackberry. The iPhone is sweet too, but I want something different. =)
