Absolute Boyfriend

I started reading Manga books now. :) I use to just watch Animes. They’re becoming very addicting.

Being like most girls, I’m into the lovey dovey cute shit. Right now I’m reading Shojo Beat Manga: Absolute Boyfriend, Story and art by: Yuu Watase. So far, I’m only on book 4. Just getting started. :) This story is so cute and funny.

Absolute Boyfriend Book 1: Summary

“Rejected way too many times by good-looking (and unattainable) guys, she Riiko Izawa goes online and signs up for a free trial of a mysterious Nightly Lover “figure.” The very next day, a vute naked guy is delivered to her door, and he wants to be her boyfriend!

Has Riiko died and gone to heaven? The cute guy turns out to be sweet, smart, a great cook, and lots more. And he looks like a million bucks, which is what he’d going to cost Riiko if she doesn’t return him in time…”

What I really like about this series is Yuu Watase art. I maybe be a little judgemental, but if the art in the books doesn’t interest me, like the style of Manga, I won’t read it. :X I really like Yuu Watase art. Very clean and charming. :) I remember when I was purchasing them from the book store, the cashier was like, “Are those good? I wondered because every time I walk by them I think, ‘Man, those guys are hot!’” Haha. Indeed, they are very good. That’s because Yuu Watase is known to use beautiful male characters in her work. I googled her up. :P

^_^!

Twilight: From book to movie.

I just saw Twilight! =) *sigh…the romance. Hehe. For those who didn’t know, there are four: Twilight, New Moon, Eclipse, and Breaking Dawn. Yes, I have read the books. Comparison? I believe the books are always better than the movies. I hear a lot of people say they didn’t like it because it wasn’t like the book. Duh! In books, you can get into the emotions of characters more. You now exactly how the characters feel and you can just lose yourself into the story more. You build a picture in YOUR head what the story should/would look like. The book was definitely better, but the movie was very close to it. =) I was really happy with it.

The characters were pretty damn close to what I imagined them to be like. I thought Rosalie was awesome in it. Hehe. Pretty funny. Alice was a doll, so pretty and cute. Esme was gorgeous (cool to see her on screen where I actually liked her, hated her character in Grey’s Anatomy =P). And the rest of them were great too. Carlisle. Emmett. Jasper. Great casting, I thought. And of course…Bella and Edward. Perfect. Love love LOVE the Cullen family.

Can’t wait for the next one!

Change of subject:

After I saw the movie, I went back with my brother’s to his place to play some Rockband 2. Now that I have experienced both Guitar Hero and Rockband, I totally believe that Guitar Hero(3) is better. The graphics and the songs are better. My opinion of course. =) I haven’t tried the World Tour of GH yet. Only thing I really liked about Rockband is being able to really customize your character. Pretty fun stuff. GH3, there’s different sets of clothing for each character and you can’t change their facial hair, hair, etc. Maybe the WTGH you can. I’ll find out soon. =P

Finished.

I love Edward Cullen and his family.
I finished the whole Stephanie Meyer series: Twilight, New Moon, Eclipse, and Breaking Dawn.
I’m a little sad that I got through the books so quickly because I don’t have anything to read anymore. I couldn’t help but go through is so fast, though. The whole series was sooo great. I loved it! I loved it just as much as the Harry Potter series. I can’t choose between those two. Just can’t. Hehe. =P Can’t wait until the movie comes out…for both Twilight and Harry Potter and the Half-Blooded Prince.
Oh yes.

Think I’m gonna pick up the book, The Host, also by Stephanie Meyer. I enjoy her writing.

Vampire love.

I bought the book Twilight, by Stephanie Meyer a few days ago. I finished the book last night. =) I seriously couldn’t put that book down. It was about a new girl in a high school falling in love with a classmate who turns out to be a vampire and all the complications that comes along with it. =) It’s a total “chick” book. Romantically dark. Dramatic. Cute. Intense…
I loved it! Now I just have to get the second book of the series.

I don’t have to work Tuesdays.

I started reading a book a few months ago: Tuesdays with Morrie, by Mitch Albom. I didn’t finish it yet, which is pretty damn sad because its an easy read and a small book. Got a lot out of it so far…

The culture we have does not make people feel good about themselves. And You have to be strong enough to say if the culture doesn’t work, don’t buy it.

So many people walk around with a meaningless life. They seem half-asleep, even when they’re busy doing things they think are important. This is because they’re chasing the wrong things. They way you get meaning into your life is to devote yourself to loving others, devote yourself to your community around you, and devote yourself to creating something that gives you purpose and meaning.

The most important thing in life is to learn how to give out love, and let it come in.
Love is the only rational act.

Really great book so far. =)
