This is a reason I want to be a makeup artist…transformation.
Some people will say its misleading, but I see it as a confidence booster. ^^

I was reading some of the comments on that site, both from men and women. Some of the men were saying stuff like, I would date her without makeup. I bet if that girl was walking down the street and that guy was passing her, most likely he wouldn’t take a second look. I’m not saying that most men are like that. Just saying that first impressions/first glances matter. That’s what attraction is all about.

Women wear makeup mainly to feel better about themselves. This girl actually didn’t wear that much makeup. Guys, you think that’s alot of makeup? Lol.
Alot of women (actresses, models, singers, etc)  you see on tv,  in ads, in magazines wear so much more than that. To achieve that flawless look, some have to cake that shit on or else the lighting from cameras will wash ‘em out & show every single dirty pore.
And in photoshoots, if the women aren’t wearing a lot makeup, her face gets photoshoped. Yeah…false advertisement, but that’s the way it is. Even men get photoshoped!
No one has perfect skin.

Note: My foundation is too light for my skin & none of these photos are photoshoped. I hardly ever photoshop my pictures, surprisingly.

Left: My natural skin. I woke up at 8am this morning. I had a fair amount of sleep, so I have a little bit of undereye dark circles. I put warm water to clean eye boogies, pat dry, and that’s about it.
Right: I apply some concealer & liquid foundation. I got a bit of a tan from the sun here in FL, so I put over-on-top a darker shade loose powder and a little bit of bronzer.

Left: Applied a bit of blush, lip liner, and eyeshadow.
Right: Curled my lashes and applied mascara.

Left: Lipgloss to finish the look. This is pretty much my everyday makeup.
Right: Eyeliner added to upper lids.

Left: Eyeliner applied to lower waterline. I hate this look. I see a lot of girls wear their eyeliner on just the lower waterline. For Asian/small eyes, this can make your eyes appear even smaller. (I’ll do a post about enhancing your eyes later.) Also, the liner runs down to your lower lids. Not attractive, unless you’re going for a smoky eye look. Even so, you should put some shadow on there.
Right: Shadow added to the lower lids/below my lower waterline. Not only does it look better…it also makes sure the liner doesn’t run.

Smoky eyes. A lot of people like this look. It’s flirty. I just added more shadow and blended away. This is way more makeup than the girl from the site.

So tell me people. Do I look better in the left or right picture? lol…

Now this is going way out there. Smoldering smoky eyes. This IS a lot of makeup. I added even more shadows and some red lipstick in the center. I look kinda vampy. ^^
I could keep adding and adding…:P

Instead, I took it off.
Left: I removed the makeup with Neutrogena Make-up Remover Cleansing Towelettes. I love this product. Then I splashed my face with cool water. Looks more refreshed than the right picture, huh?
Smiling is the best makeup.

I think the girl from that site is pretty. The end result was just a better version of herself. Makeup is obviously used to transform women from plain to glam. But it’s also used to make someone feel beautiful. If it takes a little bit of mascara or concealer for someone to feel that way, then why the hell not?! If applied correctly, makeup can be incredible for someone’s skin.
