School work: clipper cut (which I really like), fingerwaves & pin curls (pain in the ass), and one of the many updos I did this week (fishtail braid, chignon, knot).

At the beginning of beauty school, I didn’t have any confidence on my skills of doing hair. Today I did a gradual cut with a razor (the bob that’s stacked in the back & longer in the front and sides). It came out really good. =] Who knows, maybe I’ll want to do hair after I’m done with school. I’ll be the go to girl! Lol. You could get your nails, hair, and makeup done by me. Chang-ching.

Didn’t know you were in beauty school. That’s so awesome, and it seems like you really love it, too. Everyone needs to have a job they love.

Yeah, I start in December. I did nails for so many years and started to dread it. It was time for a change. I really wanted to go to a makeup school, but there wasn’t any in my area.
I totally agree; everyone does need a job they love. I love nail polish, nail art and doing nails for friends, but not as a full time job. I was born into that field.
Beauty school is pretty cool. Learning mostly about hair, but we’ll learn about skincare, makeup and nails too. I don’t think I’ll end up being a hairdresser. I’m mostly going to get my Cosmetology license, which covers hair, skin, and nails (versus getting a separate license for each).
