Me? Rhinoplasty?

EDIT: December 25, 2009 Last year, this post is really how I felt at the time. After doing some more online researching, looking at my friend’s nosejob, and reading other people’s blog about the same issue, I’ve decided to not get it done. The procedure wouldn’t be worth it. The time and money to get it done could go towards something else I want, like braces or a real savings. Lol. And besides, I might end up with a bad nosejob. Yikes…
So, I am embracing my nose now. This nose is a part of who I am. I have an Asian nose, and I’m proud of it.
__________

Look at that nose. So fat, round, and ugly. =P I want a slight nose job. I have alot of “meat” on the tip of my nose. Me no like-ee. Rhinoplasty is the only plastic surgery I would consider getting. I’ve seen other Asian women get nose jobs and they always get it too skinny and pointy. I would like the tip of my nose to be a bit skinnier, not too rounded…not pointed at all. Hmm…one day. Or maybe one day I will just except my nose for what it is. Haha. But for now, I hate it. =P

Here are a few examples I found from The Khan Center and Good Plastic Surgery. =)

Oh dayumn I have teh SAME nose as you girl!!!! I really hate it too, it makes me sick looking into the mirror, im gonna get it fixed this summer!!!!

If u wanna chat heres my mail sakuranbo88@gmail.com
gd luck to u !!

Nice. I hate my nose still. Lol. If you get it done, I wanna see a before and after! =)

How the hell can you call that an ugly nose, girl you are like the cutest thing ever!!!!! I love ladies with a nose like you, so so so so beautiful. Don’t be ashamed of beauty!

Aww, thank you for the kind comment! =) I decided on not to get one. Scared how I might look afterwards. Lol

Good thinking babe, you have brains as well as beauty. I really don’t understand this whole asian culture, narrow pointy noses? Am I the only man who thinks like this?

Yeah, most Asians want their noses done because they think the narrow noses are prettier than the flat ones. I used to think that. Same as how Americans want to be tan. LOL. Everyone wants what they don’t have I guess.

Was googling ”ugly noses” for some reason and this pops up… You’re really attractive and so is your nose :)

girl i feel the exact same way…my bf & all my friends say im trippen but i hate the way it looks…especially in pictures and certain angles. i dont think it fits my face, especially when i smile and no matter how much i try to convince myself i like it & it looks fine i always come back to hating it. no matter how many people say im trippen, i dont feel satisfied when i look at myself. it seems to be too round and wide. i want to get a rhinoplasty….but i to keep my ethnic look to it…i dont want it to be pointed at all, slightly defined…and my nostrils brought in….has anyone done it yet?

=) Thank you so much. You’re very kind.

Yups, my peoples think the same way about me and my nose. I hate the way mine looks from the side. My nostrils dig too deep into my skin, making it the sides look so round. And I can’t even tell you how much I hate the “meat” that I have on my so-called, tip-of-my-nose. Lol.
I want my nose done, but then I don’t. I’m scared of the outcome of a surgery. I don’t care if its the best surgeon in the world; I’m scared. I’ve seen sooo many ethnic rhinoplasties that looked so bad. They were too, too fake. Too pointy. Like you, I want an “as-natural-looking-as-possible” slightly smaller & no pointed nose. As much as I want it done, I will never get it done because I’m just scared. Scared of the outcome, scared of what it will look like years from now. Lol. So guess I’ll just have to stick to makeup tricks. =P
Thanks for visiting btw!

you’re very (very very very) pretty
don’t do ANY change to your nose ! :(

Thank you. =) You’re very kind.

i was searching for refrence photos for noses and i found your forum
I think DONT CHANGE YOUR NOSE deffininty you are beutiful i mean sexy dont change anything
you wanna look like MJ?!?!?!?!?!
dont do it!!!!!!!!!!

I won’t be. I’m too scared to do so. Lol. I can always use makeup. =P

another person who wants to be some fucking clone? (-_-)
I dont even think that nose looks stupid on ur face.

keep that big ol’ hotter bebz…anywayz..
God..an’ yer momma and dada gave it to
you..be loud and proud.. and nose jobs
almost always look like fake crap…also
keep ur small bewbz :D

Aww, =P Hehe, you made me laugh and feel better about myself. Thanks!

Hey Katy…I’m in the same boat…hate my asian nose (especially the bridge). Did you end up getting your nose job? If so how did it go and where did you go?

Wow, we have nearly the same nose, except I have a very unflattering bridge to accompany my own, but it looks absolutely dynamite on you! Don’t change a thing!
And, it sounds strange, but I mean it when I say bravo for putting yourself out there about something so insignificant, yet so BIG, like this. You never know how many girls are Googling their insecurities and finding people like you who are NOT doing it-usually it’s dozens upon dozens of rhinoplasty sites that push them over the edge. Go on girl! :D

Thanks! You make me feel better about myself.
I always wanted a slight higher bridge, only because it’s hard to find sunglasses that doesn’t rest on my cheeks.
Not strange at all. I realized there are alot of girls that Google stuff like this.
I learned to love it. It’s a nose that makes me, me. It makes me Asian. Lol. Plus, if I got it done, who says I’ll get a better one that I have now? I thought about getting my breasts done, but I feel the same…who says my breasts will be better after the surgery? Plastic surgery is so risky. Too risky for me.

Thanks for visiting! ^^

If anyone is considering either having or correcting rhinoplasty surgery (or even simply purchasing a nose shaping device) … my recommendation is that they FIRST TRY the ‘Nose Secret’ nasal inserts product.

The ‘Nose Secret’ product is, quite simply, nothing short of AMAZING!!!

This product is very unusual in both that it has such a rudimentary, and easy to use, design AND (best of all) the FACT that IT ACTUALLY WORKS!!!!

So … again … if anyone is even remotely considering having rhinoplasty – my advice is that they (save themselves lots of time, money, trouble, discomfort and uncertainly of results, by making the decision to) first try Nose Secret.

The impact of this small device is so incredible that, after having used it, a person may change their mind about having rhinoplasty surgery altogether.

The Nose Secret product is quick, easy, effective, essentially invisible and totally pain-free to use.

In addition (unlike the typical ‘cookie cutter’-styled results that are so very commonly found among people who have had surgical nose jobs), the Nose Secret product seems to have the phenomenal ability to provide a customized-enhancement of a person’s nose features– by presenting (in a mere matter of seconds to minutes) both ‘a more naturally-refined’ and ‘a more distinctively-designed’ version of the person’s natural nose.

The customized-enhancement and refinement (complete with the ability to even induce ‘an upward tilt’ of the tip) of one’s nose, that is provided via using Nose Secret, results in the user of this product displaying a nose that appears to be a more accurate, uniform, symmetrical and complimentary match with all of their remaining facial features – and has the capacity to do so with far less time, money, and uncertainty of results than one would find with standard rhinoplasty surgery.

Nose Secret is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED — as it TRULY WORKS WONDERS !!!
