My favorite part of my job is polishing nails. I love love LOVE playing with color. I believe its the most exciting part about doing nails. =) I’ve been polishing nails since I was like 15. I can still remember it clearly…me having to go to my parents’ then nail shop every weekend, doing polish changes and building up my polishing skills by painting fake-nail-tips after fake-nail-tips. He would give me the hard colors to work with too, like Sation Corvette Red and Essie Fiji. Haha…Sation is such a ghetto brand. I hated going to the nail shop when I was younger. What kid wouldn’t? But now…I am very thankful for it. I’m proud of my manicurist skills. =)

When working with nail polish and loving it so much, it’s hard not to play with all colors by polishing my own nails. =P I pretty much have a different color on every week. I gotta have my nails looking good. =)

Nail polish of my week: OPI Laquer in Outback Aphrodisiac.
Unfortunately, the color is discontinued. =( I’m gonna have to search supply store after supply store for the color. I wanna buy it for myself. It’s like a fuschia-ish plum. Great transitional color for winter-going-on-spring time. I love it!
